Once you have the BSEB Matric date sheet PDF 2027 in hand, check these points carefully:
- Subject codes: The date sheet uses codes such as 110 for Mathematics in the first shift and 210 in the second. Match the code with your subject.

- Gaps between papers: Use these days for revision of tough subjects.
- Elective and vocational papers: Check them separately, as they are often placed after the core subjects.
Passing Marks and Result Timeline
To pass the Bihar Board 10th exam, a student needs at least 33% in each subject, along with 150 marks in aggregate. The result is expected in March 2027. Students who do not clear one or more subjects can sit the compartment exam, which is expected in May 2027, with registration after the results. Compartment papers follow the same two-shift timings.
Smart Preparation Tips Before the Date Sheet Arrives
You do not need to wait for the PDF to start serious preparation. Since the exam window is expected in February 2027, you have roughly three to four months left.
- Finish the syllabus first. Complete all chapters of every subject before December.
- Practise previous year papers. Solve the 2026 question papers for Maths, Science, Social Science, Hindi and English under timed conditions of 3 hours.
- Give Maths and Science daily time. Practise formulas, derivations and numericals rather than memorising.
- Make notes for Social Science. Highlight dates, maps and key terms in History, Geography, Economics and Political Science.
- Work on grammar and writing. For Hindi and English, regular writing practice helps you answer quickly and accurately.
- Revise using the sent-up exam. Treat it as a rehearsal and note your weak areas.
- Look after your health. Sleep well and avoid last-minute stress.
