CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet 2027: Latest Update (22 October 2026)
CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2027 has not been released on cbse.gov.in. The board has issued neither a tentative nor a final version for the 2026-27 session. CBSE’s circulars for this session are about the List of Candidates (LOC) and registration, not the exam schedule. The LOC submission with the normal fee was reported to close on 21 October 2026, with late-fee submissions running until 30 October. CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2027 Release Date: What Past Years Tell Us
CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2027 Release Date is unconfirmed, but the board’s recent pattern helps. For the 2026 exams, CBSE released a tentative date sheet on 24 September 2025 and the final Class 10 and 12 date sheet on 30 October 2025. For the 2025 exams, the date sheet came out on 20 November 2024, and for 2024 it arrived around 12 December 2023.
| Session | Date sheet released | Exams began |
|---|---|---|
| 2023-24 | 12 December 2023 | February 2024 |
| 2024-25 | 20 November 2024 | February 2025 |
| 2025-26 | 30 October 2025 | 17 February 2026 |
This year the tentative sheet did not appear in September, so different portals predict anything from late October to December. The honest answer is that nobody outside CBSE knows, so rely only on the official website.
CBSE Class 10 Board Exam Date 2027: Two-Phase System Explained
CBSE Class 10 Board Exam Date 2027 works differently from the older single-exam format. Under the two-phase system introduced in line with NEP 2020, Phase 1 is the main exam that every student appears in, and Phase 2 is an improvement opportunity.
- Phase 1 (main exam): expected from mid-February to mid-March 2027. Results are tentatively expected in April 2027.
- Phase 2 (improvement exam): tentatively planned for May 2027, with results around June.
In 2026, the Class 10 board exams ran from 17 February to 11 March, so a similar window is likely in 2027. Check the official circular for the eligibility rules and the application process for Phase 2, as CBSE may notify these separately.

Which Papers Should You Watch Closely?
CBSE Class 10 Time Table 2027 will decide your revision order. Mathematics and Science are the papers where most students want extra gap days, so check the spacing around them first. Social Science has a long syllabus covering History, Geography, Political Science and Economics, so a short gap before it can be risky. English and Hindi are language papers that need writing practice, while skill subjects like Information Technology, Computer Applications and Artificial Intelligence are usually easier to schedule around the main papers. Students who study Sanskrit or Punjabi should look at those dates separately, since language papers can sometimes fall close together.
CBSE Class 10 Practical Exam Date 2027
CBSE Class 10 Practical Exam Date 2027 is not part of the theory date sheet. In 2026, CBSE’s circular fixed practicals and internal assessment for regular schools between 1 January and 14 February. For 2027, practicals are likewise expected in January-February for regular schools and earlier for winter-bound schools. Your school will announce the exact dates, and the marks are uploaded by the school, so complete your practical file, projects and assessments on time.
