Two students were injured, a young woman collapsed unconscious, and right in the middle of it all was actor Yash, forced to stop his own speech mid-sentence to make sure his fans were safe.
Shock at Toxic Hyderabad Event
Thousands of students had congregated in the university premises; some had been waiting for hours just to get a glimpse of Yash. The energy was electric, as said. But it is the same excitement that caused the disaster.
A gang of overexcited fans chose to scale the poles supporting the sound boxes, as Yash was on stage speaking to the cheering crowd. There was a bit of a shrug at the time.
