The technical problem impacted those candidates who appeared at those centres. There was a lot of confusion at the examination venue due to disruption, and candidates were concerned after the examination was affected.

NBEMS thereafter, after review of the circumstances, concluded that it was necessary to have a separate examination for the affected candidates. The decision shall be taken to give those candidates another opportunity to undertake the entrance examination.

How Many Candidates Will Appear for the Re-Exam?

The re-examination will be held for 2,445 candidates, who were impacted by the disruption in Jaipur. These candidates had a wider rollout of NEET PG 2026 all over the country. The re-exam is thus not conducted for all the NEET PG aspirants but only for the candidates as per the decision of the examination authority.

NBEMS said that 2,73,096 candidates had been registered for the exam that was conducted on 30 August, and 2,65,980 candidates appeared in the exams across 1,111 examination centres across the country. The test was successfully conducted for about 2,63,535 candidates and the affected candidates who appeared in the test at the Jaipur centres will be offered a second chance to be given on September 5.

Step-by-Step Guide

Visit the official NBEMS website.

Check the NEET PG 2026 re-exam notification.

Download the re-examination admit card when released.

Verify your examination centre and reporting details.

Carry the admit card and valid photo ID.

Reach the Jaipur examination centre on time.

Complete the required verification and security checks.

Appear for the NEET PG re-examination at 3:00 PM.

Follow all instructions given at the examination centre.

Check the official website for result and counselling updates.

NEET PG Re-Exam Admit Card

Re-examination candidates are required to wait for the Admit card and other notification from NBEMS.
